Ian is a Director and Executive Planner at Modoras, drawing on a wealth of experience in three decades as a practicing Accountant and Executive Financial Planner.
He has a holistic “no nonsense” approach to advising clients, and is deeply motivated and energised by the opportunity to make a difference in his clients’ lives. Ian’s philosophy of working in tandem with clients, deeply understanding their circumstances and financial goals, and working collaboratively to further their financial outcomes is key—he derives inspiration from the achievements his clients make, and enjoys celebrating their successes over long-term financial journey.
A believer in sharing his financial intelligence, Ian uses his decades of full-scale professional services experience to educate and assist clients to focus on strategies that define and deliver future goals, simultaneously protecting what is important to them. This often makes clients think holistically and strategically beyond the immediate problem they’re looking to solve.
Outside of work, Ian is an active member of his local communities, holding governance positions across different boards, and being heavily involved in community sports at different levels for many decades.
